Very happy memories of this place back in the 1960s, I remember the old railway station and steam engines, it's been spoilt by progress, thank you for a very good video 👍

As a child I spent some time in St.Ives during the 2nd World War. I remember well the Gas Works and its smell. I think it was where the Art Gallery is now. Any pictures or memories folks ?Brian.

Yes The Tate Gallery, opened it's doors in June 1993

Theve altered extended botched ,continuously ripping the heart out of ye old St lves ,look what some thoughtless ldiot has done to that once lovely old building Harbour house ,the original door ripped off ,the windows gone ,Why the coucil allows this is beyong me ,they dont give a toss ,as long as the money comes in from the developers .
