LOVE this talk, especially at 40:25 to the end! It is so funny and inspiring about how we are our dear Lord’s little babies! Sooo very comforting and soothing to hear that! In the Byzantine Tradition, the principal Feast of St. John Chrysostom is Nov. 13, the Feast of his passing is Sept. 13, the day before the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross & Jan. 27th (same day as the TL calendar) we also keep the translation of his relics. Also, Jan. 30 is the Feast of the Three Holy Hierarchs - Sts. Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. Finally, the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom is used all but 10 times per year. The other 10 days the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great is offered.
