What wonderful gifts we have received in the past two days from the Pints With Aquinas channel! Yesterday we had an excellent lecture, by Fr. Pine, on how to deal with sadness and how to use it as a foundation for inner reflection, spiritual renewal and as a means to connect to our heavenly Father. Today we have this impassioned presentation, by Mthr. Natalia, regarding the hope that is at the heart of the Easter story. The talk by Fr. Pine spoke to the cerebral part of us, while Mthr. Natalia's lovely commentary on hope fortified us emotionally. This channel truly nourishes us in the most holistic of ways. Thank you Matt and team for bringing us two wonderful exemplars of consecrated life.

How do I say this without sounding so cliché? I want to wholeheartedly express how this spoke to me, and perhaps others. I did absolutely nothing this whole lenten season. Thought about nothing but probably did the worst. Ive been back and forth on whether im saved or if I should care. Ive felt total darkness take over my life. But now that I think about it, thats called grief. You shouldnt be what you grieve about. You shouldnt let that overcome your spirit. The message here is that christ loves people that believe they've done everything in the book to betray Him. His ways are much more powerful than our thinking and behavior. And here I was grieving about my inconsideration in general towards life. With this message I know that God is still trying to connect with me and others that believe in their grief. Amen Mthr. Natalia. We should have more sisters at the forefront.

This was beautiful, thank you so much for sharing this! That same hymn of Christ is Risen, I sang after helping clean up at the end of Easter vigil at my home parish. It was just me in the Church singing it (I'm trying to convince our choir director, though we're in the Roman tradition, to sing it at some Easter Mass!), but I've heard this one and i love it, and you sang it spot on! It's one of my favorites as well!

Today is a day of hopelessness. Literally. Look at the world that has been created here. Pure corruption and evil. Man cannot return to God now. Jesus needs to come back. This is becoming too much.
