St. John U.S.V.I. - December 2022!

My first trip to the USVI was August 2022. It in returning May 2023 to celebrate my parent’s 50th anniversary! Can you please share what you used for footage underwater? It was so clear! I used my phone underwater with a case, but I’m looking to upgrade for this next trip! Thanks.

I used a GoPro hero 8 , it worked great underwater and easy to use

Fun video! 0:39 into the video, I was like, "these are my people!" Was that a checked carry-on bag? Our goal is not to have any checked baggage so wanted to see if you had any issues with the food. Also, what food did you bring? I started my list with: -Protein bars -Flour tortillas -Raisins -Pepperoni -Jerky (if my wife lets me... she can't stand the smell) -Nuts Thanks!

Howdy! Yes, all the things you listed are perfect! We learned the first time we went to St. John that groceries can be expensive and in limited supplies, so non perishable items are great, hence we did check a bag that included our foot ware, snorkeling gear, and food. I’m usually one not to check a bag, but worked well in this case. I would hesitate to pack anything perishable in case the bag gets lost!
