Hi Erv. This is an interesting video. I don't think I have ever visited Old St. Joseph Cemetery when we lived in Cincy. This video is thought-provoking as it presents an image of "a cold, gusty day with cloudy skies--- an 'end of a life' sort of day, the trees being bare and the music fitting the scenario." Your video is VERY WELL DONE! Our family plot is in New St. Joseph Cemetery up at the end of W. 8th St. and I have walked and wandered through there countless times as a youngster as my maternal grandparents lived just down the street from the cemetery. New St. Joseph Cemetery too has large monuments and elaborate gravestones. If you do a video on New St. Joseph Cemetery and you want to focus on any of the gravestones like you did in this video, feel free to show our family plot. It is down from the Nebraska Av. entrance on the right next to the walkway and hedge ("assuming the hedge is still there"). The stone monument has our family name on it--- the same as what appears on that commercial building on Harrison Av. in Cheviot that I mentioned a while back. There is one remaining empty plot in our section and it is reserved for me when I pass on. When that time comes, at least I will be in the morning shadow of The Crow's Nest pub. That will be so very appropriate for me... LOL!!! --- John

Old cemeteries are awesome! My ancestors are buried there.

I have never seen a sign before say that there are plots available! There are 4 generation of my family there.
