This recipe is totally different from how we prepare here in Trinidad, however I'm sure it was juicy and tasty with that coconut milk you added as well, yummy. TFS your recipe and I hope to visit At Lucia one day to taste all those lovely meal being created, yes I know I can give the recipe a try, which I intend to but I also want the authentic thing.

I was born and raised in Paris but I’m West Indian from Guadeloupe and Martinique ( French West Indies) and there we call it dombré the gravy/soup is a lot thicker and we normally do it shrimps and tomatoes or crab or porc and red beans

Terri Ann.i lived in St Lucia for about 2 yrs and I never saw crab and dumplin cooked like that beautiful looking yummy and crab and lobster was easily available. I really like seafood, lentils and who doesn't like dumplin. I hope to try this as soon as possible (find crab) Then g is i do t know how go prepare the whole crab? So if I find the crab claws, I will buy that instead. Thanks a bunch lovely lady.⭐ I love food cooked with everything in one pot, I could eat some now! And yes even i do rince out seasoning left in containers, waste nothing. Was that a baby making sounds in background, lovely! 😊😊🌹

Im not St Lucian but I am homesick af. Ive been visiting every year since 2016...and its more than one trip per year. Last year I went 3 times. I tagged some of my Lucian friends to give me the garlic sauce recipe thats usually served on grilled fish and they ALL let me down. Please, post a recipe for the garlic sauce. I really need that in my life since I can't go back right now.
