I swear I can take the smell through the screen. My favorite thing to do for my family especially when it's a rainy evening and sometimes I alternate the evaporated milk with coconut milk . #StLucianCuisine

Green up in St Lucia. Brought back memories of my grandmother making this. I somehow recall the dumplings being like drops. Great video. Keep up the good work

You brought back so many fond memories... My granny made this for me a couple times and had it a few times even I visited my family in St. Lucia. Taste like heaven... This is so good... When you know you know. Could taste it again just by watching your video❤️😂

I'm from Jamaica, we make our cocoa tea very similar but use condensed milk to sweeten it and definitely don't add our dumplings in it. Very interesting tho. Our food is very similar to yours. We don't use the green seasoning either, we just cut up our vegetables instead.
@kingsakie132 Жыл бұрын
U can either use condense milk or sugar. But yea we love the dumplings in it. Much better combo tbh. Let it cook up in there for a bit.

Looks amazing, I grew up on this, but we strain the Tea before adding the doublings Im not sure if that process was skipped
@bambiirose44005 жыл бұрын
If you grate the cocoa, you can skip that step 😊
