If I'm not mistaken she's drinking Bordeaux out of a Zalto Burgundy glass and will impact both the aroma and taste.

Why Bordeaux wine in a Bourgogne Zalto glass?
@WTSO2 жыл бұрын
This glass is built for expressive wines and the shape is great for tasting because of its broad surface area. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Nice! I find St Emilion to show more structure because of more oak used for Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc. Pomerol is your creamy chocolate black plum cake allright... Lovely.

Excellent vid Laura. I really get the differentiation between the two areas, thx to your very clear and understandable descriptors. Question:. What factors give pomerol and St. Emilion their different profiles? Thanks!
@juliendunand64094 жыл бұрын
Pomerol in French we say is "round", meaning elegant and easy to drink. St. Emilion has more body and more fruit I find.

She mentions chateau pretus? Think Pomerol wines are titled as names only and as far as i remember there is no chateau thereXD. For the movie, i havent seen it, so maybe she just refers to what is said in the movie. Just want to say that if any1would ever have the opportunity to visit those wineries, it will definitely be worth it. Many of the places are very impressive.

Liked your analysis, but you should try and look up how to pronounce those names before saying them. For instance, you pronounced 'fugue' as you would have pronounced the second part of refugee ('fugee'). However, the 'gue' in 'fugue' is a hard g, and would sound more like 'fug' than 'fugee'.
