Okay, good job looks like they fairly. Well, Mead replica, my thing with these replica swords or fantasy swords is, do they act like real swords? And if it does, that's a pretty good piece you got

I agree. I had the $150 musha version back in the day. Was not as screen accurate as this one but overall was a good sword. The Shang sword however, is outstanding. I love it

The menuki are representing a “Vajra” it’s a Buddhist art affect. You will see them as horimono (carving on blade) on many blades as well. I am a bit of a katana purist lol ( I don’t like Anime , painted blades, movie blades) . I do however make a exception for this sword. It was made with accurate Japanese koshirae. It’s very nice actually!
