"Send Me Your Gaurdian Angel" is a really good book about Padre Pios abilities with the Angels. I feared confession and after I studied Padre I feared it more, because I wasn't being honest with myself or the Lord. It weighed on my mind daily. I finally got up my courage to do a confession after 30 years of not practicing this sacrament. I'm working on it still. My point is for some of us for whatever reasons we go to confession fooling ourselves. We are not fooling God. Your gaurdian Angel will guide you and if you still struggle....send your Guardian Angel to St Padre Pio. All of Heaven wants to help you attain the glory. Be true to you and God.

I've since returned to the confessional after 30 years too. Yes I was tearful but it has been a huge weight off my shoulders. I've gone once a month to confession now. Please pray for me that I can keep it up. I'll pray for you.

@@sonny8638 My Priest assured me that even if one doesn't have any sins at that time (and I think he was generalizing here), that we can still participate in the sacrament of Confession. You can also generalize (I'm using this word for want of another more appropriate word - I'm getting old and forgetful!) your repentance for any sins that you may have been responsible for but not aware of, at that specific/particular time. That does not exclude you from confessing sins that you do eventually remember, despite having gone to Confession regularly.

@@sleepinglioness5754 There is a ripple effect, our sins not only damage us but they can damage others as well. I try to keep this in mind now and not throw rocks in the water. It's very hard. My first confessor explained all this to me. I felt the weight of the cross when I realized I ignorantly never looked at the ripples I was causing. The more I study my religion the more I am aware of my sins. Life is journey for sure.

My friend is the grand niece of Padre Pio, when she left to go to the airport to go home to NYC for her dad's funeral, the security screener stopped her and hugged her exclaiming, LOOK!!!! The xray screen showed my friends outline and a figure with wings behind her!!!!

Fr. Mark, let's pray for those priests and religious who are being persecuted for standing up for the truth. A while back, I read about a nun in India, Sister Lucy, who was being chased out of her convent, basically defrocked, for standing up for her fellow sister who was sexually abused by a bishop. I imagine it's the loneliest feeling one could experience, being chased out and no longer being considered a religious.

Sr Lucy was defrocked, because she stayed in her convent, still bad naming the Catholic Church. Even bringing media into her convent. She became a puppet of communist jihadist media who tries every way to cause division in church. This people are supported by the illuminati satanist groups in malayalam film industry, who has been constantly making films mocking Jesus , priests and sacraments. The Bishop if he has done, did wrong. But most people say it was mutual and not abuse. Sr Lucy stood up for the nun. But now she is been fooled out, thinking the jihadist media is giving support for her. I have seen many holy priests and nuns, only a few are wolves. When the public attack thr priests, it mostly affect the good priests. But with Bishop Franco the church did wrong, he should have been stayed out of his duties, until his was found not guilty. Many Catholics lost faith in church because of this. Also the media give it good coverage. And the jihadists used this in social media comments.

Amen! Depression is terrible. Even the medication they prescribe does not work and not interested in being drugged up. I think it is from too much trauma. But, the Rosaries always help me.

In the on-going battle with financial anxiety and other kinds, The Rosary has PROVED a phenomenal daily weapon, to beat back those devils of anxiety and panic🗡️🌹 As a Convert to the Catholic Faith, who only started praying the Rosary seriously last year, I can testify that I have seen nothing close to its POWER in terms of its ability to restore my joy and equilibrium in a matter of only minutes of prayer a day❣️ I wish all my dear Protestant brothers and sisters may be led to the Wonderful, POWER-filled Catholic Faith and discover this miracle working prayer❣️ I can hardly believe there are lifelong Catholics who don't seem to be aware of the Might of The Rosary and who don't pray it😱😱😱

My spiritual father, Padre Pio! His feast day is on the 23rd of this month. We will be praying his novena as a family in the lead up to it and we always have a party on the 23rd in his honor. Thank you to all who prayed for my two sisters, Mimi and Fran, who live in Kenner, LA. Ida did not flood their homes although her winds caused some damage. My sisters used generators for power ... But now they are praising God for the restoration of power over the weekend. My brother John Michael on the West Bank may be without power for 4 weeks; he has a good supply of gas for his generator. Thank you from Australia we are going thru terrible times. We must keep on praying harder than ever. Mass Rosary really does help. Thru our Lady Mary a 3 year old non verbal autistic boy miraculously found after 3 cold days in the bush after his mother had prayed in a monestry. And many others prayed. Young Anthony named after Saint Anthony like his dad's name went to hospital briefly then straight back home. Just some ant bites found in a creek drinking water. Praise God.
