Oh Ginger! I love this cute little guy! So much fun and very magickal! I especially love his eyes! The new equipment is fabulous. I can even see the detail of the pores in the paper towel lol. I lik the effect of the woodsy spatters. 💚💚 Jo

Best Tuesday/Monday tutorial ever! So glad you both were able to be with us tonight. Love this little St. Patrick's Leprechaun, so many beautiful greens. I may have to put working on my other "paintings in progress" to the side for a day or so and move this one to the top of the list. I thought the new "infomercial" was full of important information and came from Ginger's heart. Thank you Ginger and Jon for sharing another evening with us. TTFN HAH, 🎨🖌🫶

Love all your do’s and don’ts instructions, with all the whys and why not’s. Giving painting instructions in techniques, principals of design with variations in the composition. with the depths of mixing variations of colors. You’re not preachy at all ! You’re the best teacher I’ve ever watched and listened to, while she to was painting. Giving all those thoughts going through your mind as you focus on painting and sharing your knowledge while teaching. I thought you had been improving because of your story time, but it is intentional?!! Thank you for that, I appreciate that. John certainly accompanies and compliments you. My Mother found a 6 leaf clover, she saved it and many years later I too saw it, in her Bible. I heard of a painting that was moldy. A Art institution had bought a large awarded piece just before they were going to remodel their building. During the remodel the painting was put in storage for a few months before they recovered it to finally be placed in it forever home of prominence. It took a couple weeks for them to realize there was a rancid smell and it was coming from that painting! 10,000.00 dollars for that painting! It was in oils and the artist had finished it quickly and varnished it before the competition to protect it. I think, they found out in his impatiences, he not only varnished the front but back too trapping the moisture inside, molding during storage in the basement. Loved your show Going to check out costs of your school, However I am on a very limited income, and I want to get a cat for companionship. Blessings

I just got a hole in a birdhop painting I was doing. I wasn't sure why. After these few years of painting, I thought I would've had that knowledge, but I am glad the question was asked and thankful for your answer.
@gingercooklive11 ай бұрын
it normally happens on the second layer of drybrushing a background.
@kellyjo697811 ай бұрын
Yes! But I don't think my other layer(s) of paint were quite dry enough for what I wanted to do. It still looks pretty, just not the effect I wanted. Thank you for so freely sharing your knowledge. @@gingercooklive
