Have to say Keith, this has probably been Rovers most impressive tittle win of the 4. Might sound crazy but they have had to drag this one out of the fire . They have not been at their best and were under Savage pressure . But they clawed their way to it even after a shocking start to the year . Showed a lot of mental toughness this year if not allways ability on the pitch

Agree with you 100% Keith, it's up to the rest of the pack to up their game and take on Rovers. As a Rovers fan, it was not a vintage season to be sure, messy in parts! But huge credit has to be given to Stephen and his team, they ground it out! As a dad who has a 14 year old playing in the DDSL, investment is key across football. Rovers are setup with a great academy, but are an exception to the rule. I see the dearth of facilities at grassroots level, clubs struggling to get pitches, Astros etc. I genuinely hope that Bohs, Sligo, Harps, St. Pats etc can all get their stadium plans off the ground. The attendances this season proof their is a demand for football and that will grow with the right investment!
