St Paul Union Depot Depot Days w new CPKC scheme and TCW GP38-2 St Paul, MN 06/02/24

While I had already planned on spending some time at the Union Depot railfan park area in St. Paul, MN, I was surprised to find out the Depot Days event was going on the weekend I was in the Twin Cities. Even though I heard from local railfans that the event wasn't quite as big as it used to be, I wanted to check out the displays. The new CPKC paint scheme was recently unveiled and CP 9375 displayed (despite the new paint job CP and KCS engines will keep their reporting marks much like the IC/DMIR/BLE/GTW engines on the CN. A TCW (Twin Cities Western) GP38-2 was displayed along with BNSF 1550 (SD9 recently given to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum) and a Soo Line caboose.
