The fact that Khabib called out GSP to come down to lightweight for the first time in his career at the end of his career at the time where he was actually saying middleweight was somewhat more natural than welterweight, despite Khabib walking round at 190lbs and routinely absolutely killing himself to get to 155, rather than even offer welterweight to have a chance to, like Gsp, become a 2 division world champion, was a bit of a black mark on him for me.

Jake Shields is so underrated - 16-3-0 (1) record at the major leagues (UFC, Strikeforce, ROTR, EliteXC) on ufcstats(dot)com - Notable wins against Kampmann, Hendo, Maia, Woodley, Condit, Akiyama, Okami, and Lawler - High level BJJ black belt with exhibition grappling wins over Dillon Danis, Machida, and Gilbert Burns - Won 2 of 5 rounds against GSP in a mostly stand up fight despite not being the best striker - GSP didn't dare grapple with him
