St Regis Toronto | Luxury Hotel Suite & Area Walk

A walk around the St Regis luxury hotel in downtown Toronto's financial district. I walk over to the hotel from University Avenue and check out the pool & fitness areas as well as a room (which was a suite).

Dear Mr. Johnny Strides... After the train pulled into Union earth -342- Johnny realized he was on the earth and quickly decided to get a hotel room for just around a one thousand dollars... He, fortunately, had packed a knapsack with provisions which included two extra underwear, a fresh pair of socks, and a fresh clean T-shirt.. Including a Speedo... He went for a swim in the Lazy Pool... He sipped a drink with one of those fancy small umbrellas... He ate a well-balanced dinner tired from roaming around all day and went to sleep... When he awoke the next morning he found himself inside his apartment and his four-legged furry buddy, Charlie was hovering over him... "Woof! Wooff! ... Translation... "You were experiencing a dream Johnny, it was just a dream... You are safe... I am here! It's me, Charlie!".... the end... A Happy Ending.. Always in Good Taste... CHEERS!... Do you have an opinion of what hotel / rooms make sense for older couples, one of which has mobility? I'm going through your videos now but am looking for 1) shortest walk in the hotel 2)elevators 3) spacious rooms 4) luxury aspects for older couple

@ 6:23 Yes, prior to 2007 it was a parking lot although there's a history to that. A 7-storey Woolworth building sat on this corner for almost 50 years but it was sold to Budget in the mid-90s after Woolworth closed. Budget tore the building down to operate a car rental/parking lot and eventually sold the land to the developers of the Trump tower. The Trump saga at this location began around 2001 when he partnered with Ritz-Carlton and a developer who, it was discovered, was convicted of bankruptcy fraud and embezzlement in the U.S. and was extradited. Ritz pulled out of the project and Trump eventually partnered with Talon (the new developers) but it took almost another 10 years to open the property. A sales office sat here for most of the time prior to groundbreaking, along with the parking lot.
