We really enjoyed watching this video of the Ritz Carlton! It is a bit fancier than the Chelsea we stayed at last week but we really enjoyed the Chelsea and its location.

Johnny the most awe striking Hotel Lobby I’ve is ever been in, still to this day, bar none, is the JW Marriott Desert Springs, in Palm Desert, California. It’s stunningly spectacular, ginormous, cavernous, there’s even water and boats cruises in there that enter & leave around the grounds.

Like the hotel tours adds variety to the channel. Way beyond my pay grade one night would cover a months rent in my 2 bedroom apt in the peg.

It's weird that they chose a carpet pattern that looks (at least in the video) like an ancient carpet that is worn down to the floorboards and completely rotted away near the windows. I assume it looks nicer in person, since you didn't mention it.

It does look quite nice actually.

Great to see the interior of some of these ritzy hotels (pun intended). I gotta say though, it's a bit of a head scratcher the price. nearly $1K per night? The pool area and the room itself just felt slightly underwhelming for that eye watering price. Still really glad to see it and now I don't feel like my middle class ass is missing out too much lol
@JohnnyStrides2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, a whole lot more $ certainly doesn't get you a commensurate amount better in terms of hotel quality lol

I totally agree👍 I’d never stay there 🤢

Marriot owns the Ritz-Carlton and they were founded by Mormon missionaries. So that explains the BoM.

Great video! The quality is so great, and your panning is so smooth. What camera and selfie-stick do you use for filming? Thanks in advance!

I just use a gimbal. Cheers

How is your key card working for all the hotels and rooms ? 🤔 when you are not a hotel guest.

The hotel that used to be called The Prince, Weston is easily just as nice for half the price, but of course, it is way up in North York. There is a huge park to wander about it, and an outside pool for the summer, but no "culture" to speak of. The pool in this one was pretty nice, though.

...the Marriott family are LDS/Mormon, hence the presence of the Book of Mormon in all Marriott properties.

Seems this is the standard room of a Marriot Hotel named Ritz to overcharge people. As corporate rate always higher and always paid for, they couldn't care less as employees staying will never complain. Just compare with the Ritz Paris and you will see the obvious. :)

The room looks absolutely average... mehh for $900

?? Gotta say, nothing about that place says high end hotel... generic interior design, that you see everywhere. (People with more money than brains, simply paying for the bragging rights to tell everyone they stayed at the RITZ.)

Yea and what's with the carpet?

What you would have to pay to stay here for 1 month would pay my rent for 3 years. The proper position of the toilet paper 'just' might make it worth it.

At the entrance, the Ritz-Carlton employee may have been eyeing you because you looked a bit out of place in your causal t-shirt and short pants. That's why when I visit luxury hotels, I try to dress more formally so as to fit in with the surroundings.
@JohnnyStrides2 жыл бұрын
I saw plenty of casually dressed people staying there. I just didn't want to be spotted with the camera even though it was probably ok. Cheers

@@JohnnyStrides Perhaps it only applies to me. Being a minority, if I wearing shabby clothes at a luxury hotel, I would sticks out like a sore thumb.
