Bless you Father. I noticed a lone candle at it's end today under St Thérèse's statuette and replaced it. At the moment I began a prayer to St Thérèse, the old died out and the new burned brightly. It was a simple moment, but one that amazed me. May we all pass into Heaven the same way.

You leave out Jesus and pray through an IDOL that is don't do that, you cannot come to the Father through any other way.Jesus is the door of the sheepfold. There is no Therese or Lisieux waiting for you.

@@luitjen1950 Sir, are you a baptized Catholic ? Because Heaven is our eternal home, and the Saints in Heaven pray for us, and intercede for us to Jesus. They are not IDOLS. They're people, just like us, who made it up to Heaven and are praying for us to become holy so that we, too, can make it up to Heaven. Read the lives of the Saints. They are examples for us on how to live, so that we can make it up to Heaven. Little Flower, in this hour, show your power. Father Mark, I thought it was interesting how in her book “The Amazing Secret of Purgatory” Sister Emmanuel described being in Purgatory as a “love wound” that causes intense suffering and a longing that cleanses us of whatever is still impure in us and how Mystic Maria Simma revealed that it is actually the soul itself, not God, that wants to go to Purgatory in order to be pure before going to Heaven and even if the pain of the soul is terrible, there is an unshakable certitude of living forever with God which still gives a joy greater than the pain there. I’ve probably got it all wrong and don’t understand, but I still loved the book. Thank you so much again for the recommendation. 😊 ♥️ Viva Cristo Rey! ♥️

St. Therese of Lisieux is the best! I love that she said we are to expect to go to Heaven. God indeed wants us with Him. Expect the miracle of Heaven with Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Holy Spirit, and all the Angels and Saints. I’m working now on praying for the mindfulness to stop complaining about the purification process. It’s one thing that astounded me in the Little Flower’s autobiography. Suffering became attractive to her. Now that is a true understanding of our purpose of purification. Let’s all have the strength to jump on the cross with Jesus and bare our burdens with grace. Blessings to you all!
