The daiquiris are definitely still good! We figured they wouldn’t be good because it’s such a touristy spot but were pleasantly surprised when we could taste a healthy amount of rum in it 🍹

Fully agreed! Duffy’s is fantastic and was a highlight of our trip. It’s such a locals bar that is so welcoming and fun. And that drink list is incredible!

Great video, that drive up is very scary but great views. Driving there in general is pretty sketchy overall but also kind of fun. I have the best hole in the wall breakfast spot close to red hook.

You guys are always finding the good places. Haha we had some scary drives in our trip to st Lucia last year. It was only one lane and very bumpy. Banana drinks are the best. So jealous! What a view! Are you guys members of maragaritaville or Wyndham? There is nothing better the food and drink on the water. Cheers to great food video! Oh that water at the end! 🤙🤙🏝️🏝️

We don’t have a lot of talents, but we are proud of our ability to find good food! It sounds like your St. Lucia drives were very similar to our St. Thomas one. That driving is scary but worth it. We are members of a vacation membership that is affiliated with Wyndham so we end up using their properties quite a bit. We really love the ones we have tried so far. Thanks so much for watching!

We are so happy you enjoyed it! The Mountain Top banana daiquiri place is about a 20 minutes drive west of Margaritaville Resort. We rented a car when we were there, but there were plenty of taxis around the island so it shouldn’t be hard to get one for the round trip. The road up that mountain is equal parts fun and terrifying to drive 😀

We stayed at the Margaritaville Vacation Club Resort by Wyndham and we loved it. But there are so many options on the island. We liked the Margaritaville because it was family friendly, beachfront, and has 2 great pools. I’ve included the link to our Margaritaville review if that helps. We hope you have a wonderful trip!

Unfortunately, not one local Caribbean restaurant or food truck. You missed the best food. No pates,, oxtails, roti, peas & rice, curry chicken, stewed beef, fried whole fish, so much more. The only food you ate was the johnny cake.

Hi! You bring up a good point about authentic Caribbean food that we probably should have mentioned in the video. We LOVE Caribbean food but we live in an area of Florida with lots of Caribbean food options so we didn’t target these types of restaurants specifically. That being said, when we return we would love to hit up some of those traditional spots if you have any recommendations. We are equal opportunity eaters and pretty much love all foods. Thx for your video 😎 I will visit the Banana Daquari up that steep Mt Yikes on April 17th. Umm is the Meagans Bar Grill at the bottom of the mountain? Same area? I may even try The Shoreline Bar &Grill? Once again Thx for your video!

That mountain is steep so just prepare yourself for the drive, but the daiquiri and view is so worth it 😀. The grill at Magens Bay is located all the way at the bottom, so it’s not the same area as the Mountain Top but it’s not a long drive. The food at the grill was really good and they also had a full bar. And we loved the Shoreline so we hope you get a chance to go! It’s a hidden gem.
