For some reason I feel like she should have been born in England, she has a very British air about her.

someone has to tell me what is it with awards and taylor swift. she got the brit award this year for International female artist, over Sia, Lana Del Rey, and St.Vincent, all whose music is so much better and outside the box then hers. pity. oh well st.Vincent still rules! love her and her music
@TheKevlar49 жыл бұрын
I'd agree but Lana is really terrible in my opinion. At least Taylor's music is enjoyable. Lana tries to be deep but ends up sounding like she is whispering a high school diary.
@Yourismouter9 жыл бұрын
TheKevlar4 lol we'll politely agree to disagree on that one lol :) I think Lana Del Rey is alright, Taylor Swift I just find too pop, and honestly don't see why all the music awards ceremonies rave over so much.
@someguyontheinternet27149 жыл бұрын
Yuri muckraker The reality is that most of the time, the awards are going to go to the popular, known commodity. Whereas artists who are truly creative do not get the recognition they deserve.
@Yourismouter9 жыл бұрын
sco703 true despite the fact sia, lana,st Vincent's music is arguably more popular and simply better then swift
@harace1239 жыл бұрын
Is because our generation is being remarkable with the mainstream world and not able to experience real artists like St. Vincent. Well in my opinion Taylor Swift deserves her attention because she actually writes her stuff unlike most of the bubblegum popstars nowadays. Kudos to Sia and Lana too.

I did not know her until she started dating Cara Delevingne but she is truly gifted and i love her genre of music, she also seems to be intelligent. Cara is too immature and uneducated for her tbh
@NotAnotherKuromi8 жыл бұрын
+hodo bikar Maybe Delevingne is dumbing herself down for the masses, it pretty damn well for Jennifer Lawrence. When you are famous, manipulating your image & managing to keep a private life are sure signs of intelligence.

Rather than calling herself St. Vincent, this Annie Clark would do far better to choose a monicker which more accurately describes both her music and her persona. Thus, henceforth, she should just call herself PRETENTIOUS BULLSHIT ARTIST!

Noir Spectre... 'Whereas this thread is filled with a multitude of MINDLESS, UTTERLY SYCOPHANTIC, INANE comments in favour of the UNBEARABLY PRETENTIOUS St. Vincent, your comment stands out simply because it is sensible; all of which strongly suggests that you may be the rare exception of someone on this this thread who is actually possessed of a measure of intelligence.
@ClitDoris7 жыл бұрын
Noir Spectre... You'd do well to bear in mind that by suggesting that that St. Vincent sounds "sounds a lot like bjork," you are merely observing the obvious: which is that she hasn't a singe creative idea of her own. Indeed, the simple fact of the matter is that, throughout her so-called carrer, St. Vincent' has distinguished herself for doing nothing more than affecting the most blatant, and UTTERLY RIDICULOUS, immitiations of the work of other artists.
