annie’s voice is so soothing i hope she releases an album of her just telling bedtime stories

Is that even a thing people do?? I love how diverse and constantly changing her output is. Her and Bjork are carrying David Bowie's vision forward...in terms of always challenging yourself and your audience with something novel and exciting. Just really going for it.

i love how she hasn’t disappeared into a character for this album, at least yet anyway. Makes interviews so much more interesting.

She's so eternally youthful....I love that energy about her. She's only a year or two younger than me....and it's kinda inspiring to see. Same goes for someone like Reggie Watts. The guy is literally in his 50s....but you'd never know it. He has more youthful creative excitement and energy than most people in their 20s.

I like Annie even more knowing her father was in prison for 10 years and she wrote about it and she supports him. Really though, some people would turn on you. Especially if they've been successful and never been in trouble.

I was about to ask what you think would make it better, as I think that all interviewers just do end up looking dorky and cringe next to the magnetic aura of a star. but I think music journalists naturally do get jaded and do have to fake earthiness as you say. it would be cool if random fans who genuinely loved the music of their musicians were selected to conduct interviews
@shawnveneziano9013 Жыл бұрын
@@RapidBlindfolds Yeah, I have to agree with you and @RandomEarthCinema I was actually scrolling the comments to see if anyone else noticed how the guy giving the interview started off a bit, almost contentious with Annie. And she was being so enthusiastic despite how socially awkward she normally is, but he really did a poor job interviewing her. She always gives great interviews regardless though because she really does just love talking about her art.
