Even though it is just "turning" torpedoes and not "homing", the sharp S-turn still looks hilarious and I genuinely question why WG did implement it this way.

its something to do with the gyro on the torps, it helps the torpedo get to the intended course, irl old torpedo did indeed do that but not like the large/exagerated "S" shape in game.

looks as though you can repair about 70% of AP and HE damage (similar to conq). Incomp can only do a basic 50%

That mutant beast battle-cruiser became the source for the Rodney & Nelson, after the Washington Naval Treaty, IIRC. You can really see it in all the design elements, weird turret placement, secondaries, command tower.

Looks like this thing's going to absolutely smash in the right hands. Plenty of good things going for it, though having to play a ship that looks like this might be too much of a trade-off for some players. Also, those torps make me wish for an HMS torp DD line with some single launch chonkers. Probably not that likely since WG seems to be unfortunately shifting the entire torp role onto subs, with every new DD design somehow being an even more ridiculous gunboat than the one before it.

So.. it gives up thunderer he pen, some alpha and accuracy, armor on bow and stern and range, and gets better deck armor, 1 more gun, speed boost, torps and superheal? Seems like this new ship will be tankier at long range with a bit worse he spamming power as thunderer, with way better mobility thanks to speed boost and high base speed, and better in terms of damage at close range thanks to torps while being weaker in terms of armor at close range because of 25mm bow. The power lvl is pretty much on par with thunderer but with some shifted caracteristics.

@@leonardosousa2453 no. That ship, St Lawrence, was basically a test bed for a long range accurate sniper concept for the BCs with powerful HE and AP (ring any bells?). That ship will be scrapped as of 0.11.6.

Not really, Thunderer is overpowered, this is more in line. But the thing is it's going to be tech-tree so you can always grind it for free in the future!

@@MalteseKnight No problem. At around 4:30 you mentioned you don't know how the AA or the ASW work. A bit after that you say you don't know if the HE is any good or not. At the start of the video we can see you have 20k XP in the ship, and while I don't know how cc works on unreleased ships in WoWS on the ship XP, but I assume this means you don't have that many games in the ship. While I know you have a lot of experience in the game, I just feel that it is weird to label a video as final thoughts when it appears you have less then a dozen games in a ship.

Your aim is terrible you need to slow down as you are rushing your shots and not aiming properly take half a second longer to make sure your properly lined up as you often aim below the water line causing most of your shells to fall short.

I'm not happy about all those 25mm nose and stern huge ships they keep releasing and maneuver like Kleenex box with innacurate guns... What a terrible design sincerely no just no, for example zieten you go on a tier IV Matchs and queen Elisabeth devastate you while on a nose angle position to protect your balls but no it's a pita you cannot tank anything and barely damage them because your guns are mediocre. In a tier X match you just destroy your keyboard.
