Maine - Super American Battleship | World of Warships

The Maine is the newest Tech Tree Tier 11 American Battleship. It has 16x 406mm guns. This video shows 1 game, played on Shards, where I showcase myself with my thought process on what happens in the match, and give insight on what I think of the ship.
Price: Tech Tree - Auction Minimum bet is 100,000,000 credits with 900 lots across all servers.
I do play this match when I record the video, giving you live commentary and thoughts whilst playing the ship. This is actually a recorded video, and not taken from twitch. :D

Bigger ships should suffer from what is called "kick." That is when the rudder is turned but the ship actually moves in the opposite direction. It is better explained in Drachinifel's channel.

On console they gave us main with 10 16inch guns right before Montana as a tier 8 . The console version goes tier 1 to 8 then legendary tier which is basically tier 9 and 10 from pc in 1 tier

Could you try Maine with full secondary build please? I used full secondary build on my Montana to brawling especially in ranked battles, sometimes works pretty good on random battles too. So I wanna see how good the secondary build on Maine

No furious on the ship seems like a big mistake given how the F key basically lets you abuse that ability to get up to -40% better reload while only getting 35% of the fire damage

This is confusing because we already have a battleship Maine at least on the console for World of Warships Legends BB 69 with her 10 12-in guns of the Mark 7 variety but now we have a super battleship Maine which is apparently an alternate take on the montana-class battleship with the silhouette and appearance of an Iowa with the smokestack and superstructure? I think they should have called this ship something else other than the main could have called it the Kentucky or an alternative name but to call it main as in the state of Maine now we have two battleships called Maine ?

@@EvoraGT430 it makes only seconsary guns more accurate. In that range the AP pen is so low that the shells tend to shatter from literally anything. Better to place turret traverse mod there

No it makes the main guns more accurate, not the secondary guns, and it's only slight accuracy, the other things you can take are not as good for me personally, (more secondary range... more aa... better turret traverse - semi-viable) personally I take range mod, I explain why in the video. So far I haven't had issues with the turret traverse and have been able to set at least 1 fire at long range, so for me it's worth it. Also you can use HE on angled targets like I said, so you can use HE at long range on angled battleships, which would result in around 14k damage from 1 fire if you're fighting super ships. Everyone is different, but doesn't mean taking american extra range is bad.
