ST1100 Pan European. 2019 Rebuild - Part 12 (Carb Cleaning, balancing and refitting)

We clean and balance the carbs, along with adjusting the float heights and refit to the Pan.
We then attempt to start the engine for the 1st time in 11 months.
The Sync process starts at 7minutes.

Do you have a video of the removal and have you done the coolent pipes change? If so, did you do a video of that? Thank you

I have replaced the hoses, I ordered a kit from ebay, but there were 2 important hoses missing, so these were replaced with genuine Honda ones. No video I believe but replaced like for like

@toolsandtours which 2 were missing has ive orded a set of ebay silicone type theirs 4 in the set cheers

My ST1100 sounds exactly the same after sitting the winter. I am assuming plugged pilot jet. What was your solution?

I bought couple of years ago cheap ST1100 1991 with 60k miles and never touched anything except oil service and air filter. Runned just fine no issues although the choke did not worked as it should be but that did not stoped my from driving every day.

I think so. I used a brass wire, compressed air and carb cleaner to sort, could then see through. The pre air filter had disintegrated a time before and plugged the carbs. I did clean but did not do a full rebuild, so possible some were still present
