Why Shear area is kept as zero??. ie; staad is showinf Ay and Az as =0

Hello sir , Well you have created the built-up section because staad (EN code) does not design face to face channel section. But here you have created the built-up section in section wizard but you haven't check that staad pro design it or not..... I have a doubt that it will not work unless and until we provide the Ay and Az value while saving the section created in section wizard... Please clarify my doubt...

Follow the procedure it will work I have been using this since long. Only difference you will get is when u switch to render view only a line will be visible for built up section but all design will be done. If you still find problem share ur staad model I'll try and fix it
