Not by a long shot. Mad Season we’re just pure brilliance. Just as deep and intelligent lyrics as an early bob dylan or Leonard cohen record set to experimental rock/jazz with a splash of punk rock. The Melvins and I could go on all day. Nothing against SW but they’re just simply not that mind blowing or as inspiring as many others. Mid by comparison. Linkin park was the most overrated and insufferable band of the 90s. It was over with completely once they hit. Just pure cringe. Foo fighters were alright until the second album and they’ve been boring as all hell since. @@rozebowvintage8544

For all of you saying Best industrial band?Not by a long shot. I listen to these guys every once and awhile. Since the 90s. But just way to generic and I could live without them. Ministry & NIN we’re lightyears ahead of these guys. Way deeper and intelligent as well. Even the productions were next level and game changing. They’re is a NIN song for just about every situation or emotion in life. Ministry also had the balls to say allot of things others were scared to even touch back then topic wise. Very powerful and woke lots of people up to the world around them. SW are just pop songs with industrial elements. They’re was real industrial music and then the mainstream cringe industrial. SW were better than the sissy industrial but still nothing groundbreaking whatsoever.
@Samm0th7 ай бұрын
@@marsoblivi0n945 Yeah i'm agree with all you said. Actually SW is more radio-friendly and a bit repetitive. I like them, specially the first 2 albums and Ungod being one of my favorites of all time. Basically SW was always pointed as a NIN ripoff and yeah, that makes sense. I love early Ministry, NIN and SW as well. And with that statement i made 7 years ago: maybe i got carried away by the moment, it was too much hehe

Discovered them at random. First song that hit home was : save yourself. Then now I had a love interest but gotta move on cause she was actually getting married soon. They had the darkest days albums that pretty much encompasses all the feelings I am going through, feeling of falling in love, then letting go/trying to move on and forget. But its hard to forget and move on and you keep getting that feels bro. Songs in order are : You complete me, then Everything I touch, then Sometimes it hurts, then Haunting me, then How can I hold on, and then finally Save yourself. All the tracks hits home if you are in a similar situation or in a dark situation. Love the songs, it just hit home. But I understand why they are underrated cause people try to shy away from such feelings. Me in the other hand dive into it head first 😅 I guess that aligns with the F in INFJ-T personality 😂

I absolutely loved Darkest Days. Now that i reflect on those times, the music i listened to really instilled some depressing thoughts into my head. The entire album is so dark and moody. Deeply heavy in it's sound, but also thematically. Its a love/hate relationship for me.
@nickcharles65308 жыл бұрын
The reason this video seems silly/stupid is because they had to change the entire thing last minute to keep from getting sued. It was a video treatment based on "The Wizard of Oz". They had already shot the video, but couldn't get clearance from MGM (or whoever owns W-of-OZ); -so, they re-shot some filler and threw out most of the video. I tried to find the Director's Cut, but apparently it isn't available. ---Look closely and you'll notice Ruby Slippers, the Wicked Witches' black cap, the poppy field, Auntie Em's house, and Dorothy's dress. I think the Little People were added footage also, therefore not fitting into the plot.
@joshualawson56078 жыл бұрын
Nick Charles I always thought this video was cheesy as shit but once I found out about the wizard of oz thing it kinda explains why the video is how it is. Could've been awesome... either way SW are the shit so it doesn't really bother me to watch a corny video from them.
