I run blue loctite and never have any issues. No screws coming lose and witness marks the same after 500 rounds. Not sure why you had issues but Great video though!

Thanks for this video , I was gonna use 242 until I saw your video, bought a 262 from Amazon and will be installing my RMR on my C2, by the way did you install a seal plate under the RMR? Thanks again.

Welp, you were right. The 242 did not work. I had the same issue. Mine came loose just after 50 rds. I reset all screws with 271.

f ect bc of the Staccato mounting plate from Dawson?? Dawson plate has strange circle depression-what is this design for?

Does this plate require you to change the front site or did you just change it just as a preference? Preferring not to touch the front site if possible...appreciate you input. thx!

You can leave it, it'll just be off. If you want them to be aligned you have to switch. It's pretty easy with the aluminum punch they send.

Thanks for the video bro. I recently purchased a Staccato P DPO and I have mounted a Trijicon SRO on my gun. I love the gun but I have had an issue with my screws backing out of my Dawson Percision mounting plates. I put about 800 rounds through my gun and the screws have backed out on me twice. FYI: I degreased before applying VC3 and I torqued my screws down to 23 inch pounds. Do you think that the 3rd screw which assist in securing the C&H plate helps? I am wondering if I need to get the C&H plate in addition to using 262? Also have you had any issues since you posted this video?

Not since the reapplication of the appropriate loctite. They have a revised version they sent me that I have yet to switch to cause I haven't had the issue again and I don't feel like zeroing. If i have it again I'll make a video talking about it. We will see its got a few hundred rounds on it now

Great video but what is the actual difference between the Dawson plate and the new one?? Is the new one much thinner and are there any other advantages from the stock Dawson plate?? I still love the way the DPP looks with no mounting plate however I love the sro! Just sold my staccato p and am picking up my XC tomorrow so this video is perfect. How do think the sro would sit with that chpws plate instead of the Dawson and would it still coincide with my stock XC raised sites????? Appreciate it my brother amazing contact subscribed!!!

Thanks for watching, I covered the differences in the first video and a little here. Mostly, height, different mounting solution for the hardware, you will need a new front sight to properly co-witness. The differences will be noticed mostly on your presentation out of the holster.

@@sparda1123 Hey just wanted to thank you again I finally got around to ordering the chpws plate. However they told me on the phone they thought my stock raised dpo front site WOULD still coincide with the chpws plate. After watching this video again and now I’m nervous. Just wondering in your opinion if I’m gonna need that front site and how yours ended up turning out?? I cannot thank you enough biggest help ever!!

@@GSUnit21 It's not that you won't be able to use it but if you change the height of one and not the other that's going to change the angle of which your pointing the gun. The only thing I don't know is how this applies to 2021 models if the heights change. Worst case, swap the plate, turn the dot off and shoot the irons at 25. If it's off, buy the new front sight and get it swapped. I'm going to assume you'll need it though.

@@sparda1123 OK thanks again brother I appreciate it they already sent the plate out out but I’m gonna call them again on Wednesday. My other problem is I have an XC and a C2. I only ordered one plate first just to test everything out and make sure it was what I wanted. I noticed you used that 10-8 front sight. I think If I end up using the chpws plate on the C2 I’m gonna need that different size site then the one you used because of the smaller barrel. Crazy brother can’t believe he wouldn’t of suggested that on the phone

I just bought a 2021 P so I’m in need of a plate. I’ll probably just go ahead and get this over the stock Dawson plate. Also who did you and your friend have fit your front sights on your P’s?

Great set up and thanks for the video. Thinking about getting a 2011 also and was on the website. There’s an option in getting the 2011 frame in aluminum or steel. Would you know the difference or the benefits of one another. Thanks

Ive only shot the steel ones so anything I'd say would be hypothesizing.

The steel frame staccato P is more enjoyable to shoot. The aluminum frame will feel snappy... comparatively.

Did you have to adjust the iron sight height for the trijicon rmr? I have a trijicon rmr coming and curious what front sight you recommend
