Such good tips and instructions plus the top stitching between the cuff and the little trim piece does make it lay so much nicer and it just looks really nice. This is fantastic. I so appreciate your clear instructions. I have been wondering about why a seam is made and then cut down? I have seen it quite some bit and was wondering why not just start with a lesser seam allowance? Sorry if this question has already been answered before, I just haven't heard or seen the answer at this point. Call me silly but I have been trying to figure it out for some time and it just isn't obvious to me. Thank you for your time in your care of making a simple thing like a pillowcase look beautiful and professional.

Hi Denise, if you mean when I trim for the French seam, that’s because it’s easier to sew a wider seam and then trim it down. It’s hard to accurately sew a 1/8” seam 🤗
