Stacking Insane Amounts of Crit For a pvp Build (Project Ascension - Season 9)

A bit of a cinematic intro. I spend ages on it, so hopefully you guys thought it was at least somewhat nice!

Intro was awesome! I think the follow up videos of crits was a bit long BUT otherwise very good, very informative and open-ended explanations of why some things you tried weren't as good as you thought, and plans for things to up the game of this build.

What are your toughts on consume flames? 15more ignite damage 5% less crit? Btw if you happen to have disengage skill card and survial from the hunters tree 30% movementspeed after using disengage is super good to kite!

does arcane int and flametongue weapon stack i heard they dont.

They did in season 8 at least. Its an old trick to squeeze out extra SP. But i can test it in a couple hours and report back

Yes, but it will not stack with flametongue totem , which is probably what you heard They made it weird that "buffs" dont stack with totems. For example bshout doesnt stack with soe totem.

You really shouldnt struggle against melee just keep in mind they have 2 charges so try to get them to use both then hit them with a cc to make a gap and since you can cast while moving you should be able to just run and kill the melee

And I do have one more thing I wanna ask Ive been thinking about some sort of fireball immolate build but I just cant put it together in my head nor do I know if it will be strong enough for raids or M+

Dont take this the wrong way, but im aware how pvp works. I have often reached semi high rating in pvp. Unfortunately its not always that simple. Things such as hamstring and charge roots exists, or just in general anything that slows. And lets not forget fel infused weapon and one with the light doing ridiculous amounts of damage. Things are just so unbalanced at the moment that playing a caster is almost the same as trolling. But i dont mind playing off meta stuff for videos ergo why i made the video :) Also Elune is randomly rolled abilities, landing a CC during leveling is pure luck (Especially with all the weighted bullshit)

You should check out a channel called "Heytrix" he has an immolate/conflag build that crits for 100k+ in raids

What you talking about 2 charges? It's charge x2, battle charge, blinks, & forbidden technique and after all that the global gap closer cd is already gone so they can shadow step or intercept / dragon charge, also sprint is a thing. Trust me most pvp oriented melee builds will have most of the mentioned gap closers.

Scorch players and hunter players in leveling pvp have always been smooth brain low skill people imo.. but good video.

Also to add if you go 1h offhand.. Offhand is another flat 3% crit.

also theres a RE called Frenzyheart or something like that that gives you a crit buff when you kill a target.

And then you hit lvl 60 and hit 400 crits while most melee bullshit hit you with 1.5k per global and just clap you out of existance. Apart from peveling bgs pvp on this server is a massive shitshow sadly. And even leveling bgs are a shitshow bc everyone is oneshotting each other. But its kinda enjoyable because theres alot of viable builds that oneshot each other 😅

Dont remembee having clips from 60, but yea it falls off a bit only using scorch which is why i have those variations i talked about. Sunfire at 60 is giga strong so at least you can still be somewhat usefull
