7:45 - The Fuzz/Screamer combo, with a Graphic EQ Pedal that has the Tom Scholz settings (primarily the 800 slider nearly maxed), would probably sound excellent for the Boston/Rockman tone!

I use a Fulltone Fulldrive and an OCD. Run the cleaner green light channel for most cleaner tones. For rock stuff I run the OCD first then hit the green light sids of the Fulldrive to boost the OCD and add gain.

Okko Diablo is damm good overdrive. I own it too. This looks like some custom version or so.

2:54 As a general rule: Silicon based fuzzes work fine with effects coming before it, but Germanium ones really don't.

The BOSS FZ-5 used here is neither a silicon nor a germanium fuzz. It's a digital fuzz.
