I saw her at a club near Charleston SC called The East Cooper Disco in 1985. She clearly looked as if she would rather be somewhere else. I shook hands with her, but felt sad for her. This confirms all that I felt was going on. Much respect to you Stacey for standing up for who you are.

I love the With You album and played the heck out of it in the early 80s...and Sneakin Out too. She always has a place in my heart! It pains me to think she was so unhappy back then. But I love her more for following her heart. She still left a great impression on my early life and I still own her records 🙂
