Here is my Conversion to 20v DEWALT BATTERIES
i use the 18v to 20v adapter amzn.to/32UqkRL
i use the 60v batteries and the shipping clip amzn.to/3116sup

Good video, can you give me the name or link of the motor? My daughter just burnt up the motor on her bike I ordered the replacement but was hoping to find one that I can solder in to the old set to have a backup.

Hoping you may have some insight. I have a 12” not modified but randomly today it won’t power on at all, no lights or anything. Fuse is good, tried a known working battery. Any ideas?

15 minute batteries? Are you driving straight at full throttle up hill? Ours lasts an hour easy. We ride on all kinds of terrain on road off road on track on paths never had it last less then 45 mins

im sure with some fabrication any batterry will work. i only used dewalt because thats what system im invested in.

Bikes been great! kid runs it hard and ive had zero issues! Other then battery life which i fixed and the main fuse blowing once, both for me where very easy to fix. Ryan really did make a killer product!

Ok did you have to pull the motor to get to the fuse? I’m checking it because the battery is still holding 16.5 volts but when I turn the bike on it gives out a couple red blinks then shuts off. Any recommendations?

only one of them got reconnected i tried to do research on what they do and came up with nothing. but what i did find out is one is likely the temperature sensor and other is for low voltage (gauge on twist throttle)

Looking at doing this with makita battery cradle and batteries and was looking at the green and blue wires wondering the same thing. Did you connect them to power or just leave them disconnected?

Update: So we own the Stacyc 12 and 16, been running them for 2 days non-stop now, here's what I've noticed. We did both bikes yesterday at mid-speed around our neighborhood, 2 miles... the girls did fine and kept up. (We switched the 16 to high gear, halfway around). Once we got back home they rode another 45 minutes in the front yard. I noticed both bikes started getting slower, but they were still going strong! We bought an extra battery for each and so far I am pleased with the battery life... although this coming weekend will be the "real-world" test as we will be on the mountain biking trail. that's not at all what i was seeing my 7 year old in high with basically sustained high speed. so 1/4 mile up and down road non stop at full throttle with 4ah would get 12-15 min runtime and then 45 min to charge. extra battery at my time of purchase was $150. 2 x 6ah dewalt batteries cost $150 and i have 8 or so now. if he did any inclines he would get less time on the stock battery. the 12" with my 4 year old literally goes days on the 4ah battery. my bike was literally 2 days old when i converted it to the dewalt i have well over a year of daily use with no issue and no battery shortage. only issue was main fuse (happened first day) and burned up the motor doing really steep hills

@@Benbuilt4u Yep, my fuse went out day one as well, lol, and after an hour of getting to it, I was able to get it changed... thanks for you comment about the fuse going out, or I would have never known where to look. So did you ever figure out what to do with the other wires once the conversion happens?

yes although my son did manage to destroy the stock motor doing hill climbs. the battery setup is going strong.

@@Benbuilt4u Have another Question - When you did the conversion is there a wire coming from the bike that is a low voltage cutoff? What stops the bike from over draining the batteries

@Christopher Witkowski i bought one from china same exact motor like 30$ swapping to brushless isn't really easy task and second no room for larger motor and the motor in it has highest turns so its fastest one you can get.
