In Kali we practice with different length staffs. Floor to plexus, floor to temple, floor to 2 feet taller than yourself.

Who’s serious want be a staff fighter and need a lesson for that basic move and strikes. This people should consider, that this is not his thing. The best strike and move are this, that you archive naturally from alone by training and exercising. All other is not really yours and borrow that will leave you soon. Or in other words. In a real fight is that what you need to learn almost not be there when you need it. By ca. 9 years I began to learn stick/staff fight in the church to protect myself and the church member etc.!
