I think George may have repurposed that "Barry White's voice attracts snakes" thing for the Whacking Day episode of the Simpsons. Also they neglected to stress the importance of checking for ticks after being in the woods.

The writers on The Simpsons say he’s one of the best. That if jokes were home runs, he hit the most. Coming up with the best classic sounding lines. For example he came up with: “Hey you, let’s fight!” “Them’s fightin’ words!!!”

My favorite is when Sideshow Luke Perry gets blasted out a cannon, flies over the safety net, through a window, through the Museum of Sandpaper, through the Kwik-E-Mart and a display tower of acid, and safely lands in the pillow factory.... only to have it implode.
