i miss zerg staff ele so bad. Will give this a shot, I want unravel to be the key to making it feel good but still pump out damage worth ele's high maintenance.

I have been wanting to play staff weaver and this has by far been the most helpful video for clearing up how the skills work and how it might combo with other skills so thank you for that. I was wondering however, if you can make staff weaver work for more than WvW like say PvE or PvP?

Writing down the rotation from the video so you can train more easily: Start in Fire primary, Air secondary (Static Field [5] possible for chance of stun) Lava Font [2] Plasma Blast [3] Swap to Earth Pyroclastic Blast [3] Eruption [2] Meteor Shower trick [4 and spam 5 so it casts outside of range - see 16:00] Swap to Fire while Meteor Shower is casting Lava Font [2] Swap to Water Ice Spike [2] (Possible to cast Pressure Blast [3] if allies need healing or you want to blind enemy) Swap to Air (Here you can heal up by Monsoon [3] and Healing rain [5] and/or chill your target with Frozen Ground [4]) Lightning Surge [2] Swap to Fire Repeat Of course you should try and find some combos that suit you and maybe are better than this one, but it is always good to have a starting point if you are beginning to learn. thx for this Vallun nice build! I have a question for you - how important do you think boon stealing (or boon-corruption or just boon-stripping) is in wvw versus boon support or raw damage?

its good but only when stacked on top of damage, like if you remove boons they just reapply them, it needs to be a coordinated thing

I think youd be better off taking mist form over unravel and fgs over take root. Unravel is kinda just ehhhh, and mist form can help you stomp safely or Rez safely or run away, and fgs can help you evade attacks while cleaving downs or just run away like a warrior with gs lol

You should always go full fire if you want to hit big numbers with meteor shower . You dont seem to use the last weaver trait in your favor with the rotations u show here ...

10% more damage on meteor shower is nice, but putting yourself in a position to spam out more skills can be nicer sometimes. Options are there if you want to double fire attune especially with unravel

In my guild staff weavers are out damaged by heralds and guards by a large margin. Most guilds will ask for tempest support over weaver too

why do i get a feeling that you were the group thats pwning our faction.. i might be on TV by accident.. ive been having a lot of fun with your vids, very thankful. As for the wvw hype recently, here's an Eng build i kind of took from you that i use for wvw having lots of fun. gw2skills.net/editor/?PegAw6lFw+YesQGKO8WWPNA-zVZUBhCMECuYxQO5UCyPA-w its based on your Rifle holo build, but using Sword/sheild. Specs basically the same -only switched Tools Tier2 for (almost)perm. swiftness Lock On is still better if player does a lot of skirmishes i think. its got good mobility, a couple stun breaks (one passive), 2 long shield blocks, elixir gun, holo mode for some okay damage on demand. and needless to say the 1200 hook brings a lot of fun. Simply speaking you kind of annoy the shet out of people in small squads. hard to kill but too annoying to ignore. solo maybe not but can always get away. can also bait /tank high dmg CDs i think. feel free to use or change anyway you like, if you have time tho my Question is what are your choices of gears/ runes/ sigils. i tend to put some +healing in there since i go with groups a lot, whats an ideal number? thanks again as always and have a good day.

I feel that WvW linking is terible in my server we are not linkid to anything and everyone in WSR is just a Pve player no one comes to WvW.
