The way the first sample is in bypass is really juicy and processed already, you should make a demo that shows how the plugin can get it to THAT state. That's a compressor i would buy! The demo here is compressing an already-compressed signal. So i don't truly know what the compressor can do Sounds great though.... i think

I agree! It's best practice to test analog emulation plugins that add grit and saturation on clean material in order to be better able to discern the effect the plugin has.

For some reason I can't get the demo to show up in Reaper, even after a "clear and re-scan." First T.Empire plugin to do that. All my other AI types worked fine right after installing. This is the first and only one doesn't show. Any suggestions?

Sound like a limiter, is this the model you train on LVL1 ? Cause it seems to saturate mostly

No it’s entirely sampled from an original unit from the 50s and this is accurate to how that sounds .. saturation is an inherent part of the original unit even at minimum input gain or output gain .. it’s not a clean compressor but does compress hard , the vari mu characteristics makes the compression not very evident , but you hear it in the low end especially
