The only thing that I don't like about it is how much the clamps stick out towards the inside, and they look sharp. I often need to get into the bed to load a motorcycle or boxes or parts, and the brackets look like they could definitely do some damage when wearing shorts. There has to be a way to make those lower profile.

I just installed it. Got it through Amazon, so was missing some weather pads but I contacted truxedo directly and they shipped them right away! This video is helpful in that last part where you need a bit of force to close it tight once the rail bits in the rail header. Haven’t tried it in the rain, we will see how it fares. Love the look so far.

This looks better than the Tyger or Oedro ones that cost about $100 less. This comes with 6 clamps instead of four. For $100 more, I'd rather go with Truxedo.

Is this the least expensive in the Truxedo line ? At 3:05, does the foam wrap all the way around ? What is the torque value on the 6 rail clamps?

Just got one and my screws on the bed needed a impact gun to loosen. Love it so far!

No they can't BUT it won't completely stop theft. Someone can slice it open

I mean someone can just grab a blade and cut the vinyl. These covers are meant for travel so things don’t fly out, they are not meant for security!

I stripped one of the 5 torque screws on the rail so I didn’t take mine off to put the seals on. Was able to slide one in though without taking it off. Not too big a deal but be careful with those torque screws. Mine were on tight!

I needed to use an impact gun to loosen mine- I just got my truck and a predecessor of Skynet tightened those screws!

For anyone else who watches, he TECHNICALLY did this wrong in one place. Where the male and female brackets meet, you have to put them in different slots front to back per instruction manual.

Being that we're in phoenix we get to test the TruXedo Tonneau covers against some of the most brutal heat and sun conditions and these stand the test, Desert approved!
