this astounded me back in 96 i went out next day and bought murder ballads on cassette so glad i did

I knew of Nick Cave from his duet with Kylie making the UK charts. Then a few weeks later I saw this performance on channel 4 and the 13 year old me was hooked. I bought Murder Ballads soon after and I've been hooked ever since. In fact, I've got tickets to see Nick Cave and Warren Ellis in Croydon this coming September, some 25 years later.

This show got me into Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - went out and bought Murder Ballads that week and everything else soon after. If I remember rightly Iggy Pop was on the same show in his clear plastic pants?!
