Bought it. Tested. Loving it. Made from china doesn't mean anything. You all need to swallow your pride and accept that. All of your crap is from there anyway. Why stop at your knife? I have this knife. It's great. AUS 8 steel, making it awesome for work. It's durable, and can be shsrpened again eithout being TOO difficult to get that razor fine edge. Canvas micarta handles leave it easy to grip in the hand even when wet. The sheath is great. Hard plastic, with a 360° adjustable setting for chest, belt, and pocket carry. This knife is what you should get if you are looking for affordable, durable, practical, and a fast to handle knife. Whether you are wood working, hunting, looking for an additiob to your edc or just have a love for knuves, this is thw one.

I have been enjoying every Swiss tech product I have bought so far including this knife and your 2000 lumen flashlight is one of the most amazing purchases I've ever had. Zero regrets buying it,.which is rare for me

At 40 dollars, this knife is a huge surprise. The quality of it equals others costing far more. It will indeed take a very fine edge. I've been collecting and restoring knives since 1977. I'm impressed by this one. I'm not claiming to "know it all " about knives, but I have learned a lot over time. I'm always learning more and the Stahlern is an absolute bargain for the money.

This thing looks amazing, question can the rotating clip on the sheath come off? Wanting to attach it to my gear but the clip would be in the way.

Hey I purchased this knife from Walmart a while back and I love everything about the knife, but the sheath that comes with it is not working well with my other gear. The knife 10/10 best knife I’ve bought in years. Sharp, durable, and feels great in the hand. I’m planning on using as my mess kit cooking knife The sheath 2/10 it is an unusual shape and doesn’t fit well in my gear because of it, i also wore it on my belt the first two days of owning it and after the two days of wear the clip wore out and wouldn’t hold the knife upright and would fall over at the slightest touch I do like the incorporation and placement of the fero rod on the sheath though, it makes a nice place to push with your thumb when you draw the knife My problem: The rotating clip on the knife makes the sheath to wide to fit right in my canteen pouch It fits nicely on the outside of my backpack but since it only clicks into place and doesn’t lock into the sheath I can’t carry it there without risking losing the knife Possible Solutions: 1. Can someone tell me what the easiest way to remove the rotating clip is so it will fit in my canteen pouch? Or 2. Can someone tell me a method of locking it securely into the sheath so I can put it on the outside of my backpack without losing it? Or 3. Is there another sheath for sale somewhere that is better for my situation that works with the knife?

I do not own the knife but I consider it very interesting. I am going to add this to my watch list of 1000 knives, I don't know if I will add it to my wish list yet. It looks like a Kephart knife, but the clip point with false edge makes it look like a Bushcraft & hunting knife.

I got mine, along with the Wurdig, about 7 months ago when Wallyworld had their first run. So far it's proven to be a pretty decent knife for $40.00. I do have a couple of issues tho. 1) I hate the red accent. 2) It's kind of rattley in the sheath and works loser the more you use it, requiring you to heat the sheath an pinch it together again, knife and ferro rod both. 3)I really don't like the blocky handle. It's not very ergonomic and produces hot spots with continual use. I ended up taking the scales off, sanding off the red and painting it OD green with KG Gunkote, drilled another hole in the center of the tang and added some OD green burlap micarta handles that I shaped to fit my hand better with my dremel. I also milled a finger choil and a couple more jimps. I do like the blade shape with the deep swept drop point. 4) I don't like the fact that you can't turn the clip a full 180° so you can carry it inverted. The best you get is about 110° either way. I also don't like that the sheath isn't ambidextrious. These are all minor details that I can live with, except the handle shape. That had to be changed. Overall a good buy for $40.00 tho.

I just went to buy one of these at my local walmart and it looks nothing like this. Its a spear point, not a clip point. Its thinner and more narrow. There is no definition between the bevel and the spine besides a poor saber grind. There is no hilt at all, just straight handle. There is no groove in the handle. It looks anemic irl compared to this.

It's not a scam. It's actually a good knife for the price. I have many high end knives, some costing over a grand, and fully understand quality. I bought this knife; tested it with carving, notching, making feather sticks, starting a fire. The edge held up well, the coating, even better. It showed no marks whatsoever. The blade didn't lose it's edge at all. Aus-8 is a proven stainless steel, with relative edge stability and very easy to sharpen. Overall, this is a real bang for your buck when it comes to a really decent camp knife.
