Very helpful, thank you. Although quite how I've got to this point from my missus asking ' can you get rid of the artex on the hall ceiling?' is a mystery that only she ( who must be obeyed)can answer!

Hoedown (Aaron Copland original, not Emerson, Lake and Palmer's amazing cover) - fabulous. Rhapsody in Blue (Gershwin) - marvellous, my first "classical" love. In the Mood (Miller) - superb. And so great to hear while watching a terrific video series. You unravelled the mystery of staircases really well! Thanks Damien.

Me lecturer at joinery college wouldn't help so I used this video instead when making a stair. Cheers

Love your videos on stairs, very informative esp on when spacing the spindles but would love to know where the figure 121 comes from ?when doing landing spindles Cheers again....

Hi, in the video Damien uses 41mm spindles and the calculations are derived from the 100mm spacing + 21 (which is the centre of the spindle being used).

Great videos! Big help in installing my own stairs. Are the nails in the slips necessary as it spoils the end result? I'm guessing you're using them to hold them in place whilst the glue dries?
