I live opposite the abbey across holywell hill on sopwell lane . The first battle of the Roses wars was fought in this part of StAlbans. I love the peace and quiet of the abbey/cathedral, built by the Normans almost a 1000 years ago. When i walk around inside the building i always notice something different . Duke Humphrey is buried inside ( Henry V brother) he fought with his brother at Agincourt.

I live in Hatfield which is the town next to St Albans and go to the church a lot it is beautiful and is definitely worth a visit it is also a place to pray for healing and health Jesus Christ is king of kings and lord of lords and the true son of God amen 🙏🏻

Next time you're in StAlbans and have time to go inside Go to the shrine and face the lady chapel See if you can find the two life sized heads near the steps Both face towards the floor. Nobody seems to know anything about them .
