Bro Washington is not a good call first , second he's no where a batter near gill ! Third Melbourne in recent trends have produced wickets that have plenty in it for pace bowlers ... Unlike dead pitches like before ! And Washington is someone who's not a front line strike bowler ... He'll pick wickets but can he make early in roads ? And even if the Melbourne pitch is isn't a pacer friendly one , it's unlike that he would make early in roads (striking) even with set plans and fields he only can contain for a certain period that won't be effective if you see the scoring pattern in Australia and their batters will grind it out anyway if happens ... & Then with bowlers that are not threatening them like bumrah even creating pressure with bowling partner ship won't last long if you're not potent of taking wickets ! ... So this washi call falls in more of a defensive tactics where you're playing waiting game expecting Australia to lose patience! Washi may pick wickets but can he pick early in not so spinning friendly conditions ?

Because they don't have their 2nd lethal bowler of the current team(hazlewood). he not even bowl a single ball on day 4 due to his injury. it makes the biggest setback for aussie. It make the lots of disturb to cummins while making the change "overs". also, KL.Rahul drop catch at 33runs. If, incase hazlewood is fit enough to ball on day 4 means then definitely, this match result should either aussie "Win" or india's score 2nd innings some reasonable runs with 7 or 8 wicket loss(match draw) due to rain.

Here’s an interesting thought: If India had played Jadeja as a specialist batter (given his incredible form against Australia in Australia), we could have included Ashwin in the XI. No offense to Nithish Reddy-he’s been fantastic-but Jadeja’s all-round impact could’ve matched Nithish’s contributions, while Ashwin’s bowling would’ve added a whole new dimension to the attack. Imagine the pressure Ashwin and Jadeja together could’ve put on the Aussie batting lineup! A solid XI for the series could’ve been: 1. Jaiswal 2. KL 3. Gill 4. VK 5. Rohit 6. Pant 7. Jadeja 8. Bro washington sundar has potential to play at no 3. Rohit can play in the 6th position because of one reason . if the top 4 grind the ball well then the best chance for Rohit to get back his old form and he can show his ghost face by his hitting ability along with the pant. Washington Sundar has the potential to play newball if suppose openers fail to grind the ball washington sundar can do it. Rohit I will save because of his hitting ability I don't want Rohit to play the defensive cricket if top 4 batted for the first 40 - 45 overs atleast well then Australia cannot escape from the pant and rohit party.The Job of first 3 batters are very important to grind the ball well for the upcoming batters.
