Assuming you didn't steal anything, after hearing the dialogue at the campfire you can head to the poppy field AGAIN and find another note left by somebody else thanking for the stash as it saved his life. You can then take both notes, plus the content of the stash, as no other events trigger related to the stash and is effectively free loot :^)

To add to this, you can actually talk to Buckwheat (the stalker who initially set up the stash) and Skif will acknowledge the usefulness of the stash.

GSC game world was only in Ukraine for 3 months during the war before they moved to Czech Republic

I think you have a very warped image of what Ukraine is like... With the exception of some parts of eastern territories where battles are actively being conducted, Ukraine is very much a normal country. Most of the times you can't even tell the country is at war. I dont know why some people think Ukraine looks war torn like Syria or something.

Will be a great game in a year or so time. Even in my 4090FE it's slow. I've actually gone back to Cyberpunk 2077 for a while whilst the bugs and more importantly optimisations are done. Them I'll jump back in and enjoy it... Hopefully 🤞🏼
