I love your films--they transport me to a peaceful, quiet place. Love your patient, gentle, observational approach--it obviously works well!

That last carp you had was a beauty Stu and it looks a fabulous place to fish BUT that buzz of vehicles in the background would drive me more insane that I already am. Enjoyed the video though and "liked it". Keep them coming buddy.

Agree with the noise to start with, but you tune into it after a while and it's as though it's not there. Back tomorrow for another go. Can't wait!!

That's got to beat sitting behind a pair of rods waiting for something to hang itself! Mooching about with one rod is so much more rewarding, I find these days. And that last fish gave a good account of himself on the light gear. I think that my carp fishing is going to be much more this style of fishing from now on, modern carping methods just leave me cold..I must be getting old!
@thesweetcornkid2663 жыл бұрын
Martin, that last fish was a brute. Funny too, the way it fed, ever so slowly, I thought it was a dinosaur that wouldn't put up much scrap at all, how wrong I was. Thanks for watching pal.

I know the feeling!! I fish a tough nut and usually catch 2 or 3 carp a year - it really is gut wrenching to see a dog biscuit taken with a nice swirl only for me to pull out on the strike :( Whats happened to your lovely cane rod and landing net? Back to carbon?
@thesweetcornkid2663 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Roger. Still using the cane on occasion, buy this particular venue is very shallow and the carp really scrap, so I tend to use other materials.
