Hi, the owner told me, it´s a Renault Motor Type = 4P O5 4 Zylinder hängend (hängend = hanging upsidedown) mit 6.5 Liter Hubraum ( 145 PS ). I can tell you, that this was absolutely amazing. Fact is, that the Stampe is a french DH Tigermoth lookalike, not a license build. The owner turned around every screw and renewed or polished it. It looks like brandnew. Perfect condition. If you can make it to germany, I´ll give you the contact.

That.. was lovely. I would have gone up with you had you only asked. I have friends in Austria, now from this film, I can see what the fuss is all about. I can see the resemblance to the T. Moth, but not for the Tail fin which is quite different. A lifelong ambition has been to own a T. Moth, but for various reasons [money.!!!] it never happened. However, I can always enjoy your aircraft. Thank you for this.. a lovely post. WD

One of my best flying experiences too. But I´ am a lucky man. Flew with the DC-3 from Puerto Rico to the Carribean (regular Airline flight?) or on some of the most dangerous airports in the world. Always great fun. And as a model (test) pilot I´ am allowed to fly hundreds of different models. Life is great!!!,

You lucky man! I love the 'sideways' landing with a bit of rudder so the pilot can see where he is going! I had an aerobatic flight in a 1943 de Havilland Tiger Moth complete with two loops and one stall turn just over two weeks ago. I absolutely loved it! I shall upload my flight when I receive the footage. That wasn't my first bi-plane flight experience though as last year I flew whilst stood on the top wing of a 1944 Boeing Stearman which can be seen on my KZbin channel! That was the scariest thing I've ever done... and I've done skydiving! I have booked for aerobatic flying in a Firefly T67 and a more intense wing walk on top of that 1944 Boeing Stearman again but this time with loops, Cuban 8's, barrel rolls and stall turns involved!

Beautiful. This is one video where the music perfectly compliments the scenery. You're lucky to have had an experience such as that. Pardon my ignorance on things Stampe, but what make is the engine? DeHavilland, LoM, Avia ?? Best Wishes.
