Looking good. I do agree about not putting place holder matts in albums. I have photos of all weird sizes and much prefer to mount them on card and cut round to suit then stick them in wherever I want them. Had to laugh at the ‘help’ you got from your studio inspector! I have a cat bed on the end of my desk for mine LoL
