Need A Card Idea? Learn How To CASE!

Copy And Share Everything! That’s what CASE stands for. It means to replicate a card exactly. If you are stumped for ideas on how to start a card, just CASE one that you see and like. Then, try another with one or two elements changed, but keep the basic layout (or sketch).
In this video I will show you how to do this, beginning with a card from the 2021-2022 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog. From there, I then give you ideas and samples on how to change it up.

Basic card measurements in this video are:
Card Base: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
Layer (same color as base): 3-3/4” x 5”
Basic White cardstock: 1-1/2” squares (four of these)

Thank you for the tip about using a bigger block. Was always told to use a block that just fits the stamp to help prevent “rocking & smudges”.

Rocking and smudges can be a problem, especially to newer stampers. But once you know how to ink your stamp cleanly and NOT rock it, you're fine. Maybe it's my old eyes, but the distortion around the edges of a small block gets to me sometimes! :-) Thanks for your comment!
