Stan Aizin - "Transition to a Resource Based Economy"

Stan Aizin presents a positive scenario for the transition to a Resource Based Economy; how do we get from here to there? This talk was delivered at the Jacque Fresco Centennial Event - March 12, 2016.
The Venus Project proposes an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know in order to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt, and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable but as totally unacceptable. For all of us to do this, we all, as a whole need to implement our ideas and come together with this. do activism anyway we can, and really start building these cities everywhere, shut the system down and truly get everyone involved. Regardless of background, education we all need to spread this message and use our basic knowledge on this to educate others. We all have the same aim and its time to implement this. this idea is huge and its going to take all of us to truly get this going, we need to be doing anything we can and all of us should be in charge and spread knowledge. human beings are highly intelligent and this is why we are here. to do this.

The Venus Project is a great project, but I agree with TheXalkk. These platforms such as TED spread the ideas all around the world, even in school. You have a youtube channel so that people can see your project, but you don't have many views, meaning that the video doesn't catch people's attention. TED talks, are excellent ways in which you can triumph with your ideas. Primarily children are the ones you should educate, this are the next generations.

I suggest that if we had, developed, or implemented Energy Production that does not harm our environment, used up things that are polluting such as nuclear waste; AND figured out how to positively influence Adults and Children to figure out and act in ways that do not hurt emotions of another person and make things worse; THEN we could evolve into a life without war, suffering, struggle, and so on. I think and suggest that Sharing, and getting real about what is real for everyone, rather that faith, and not control (unless control is used to stop people from hurting others), are part of the keys to evolve and make things better for everyone. Money also changes the way we think and behave. But how are effective ways that don't hurt people to change human behaviour for the better?What effective ways can we convince a person who doesn't feel they are hurting others or themselves?

First transition must start with a max wage cap that is tethered to a minimum wage. With this constant spread it will eliminate inflation but still allows for a “capitalist” system. Over time inequality will be less of an issue and that will be the time to fully convert to RBE. I’d like to just add for any self proclaimed Christians….Trade is the beast and money is a horn.

better than other videos; but still lacks how the first city will be built/funded/organized in accordance with RBE values. A few nice millionares? surely this movement has some of those by now? If not a few nice millionares, then who, and how? And what of goverment taxes and market demands? A special economic zone just for a new city? Gonna build it in Arabia with slave labor with a prince on board?

From what I understand, once Tvp has enough awareness from resource wealthy individuals or nations, the opportunity to build the first test city/campus structures will arise. Its not money we need, it is resources and human power. Until then, the current transcribing and Ias (integrated Aquaponics System) projects remain underway (Peter tvp volunteer)

Activists since the 60s speak of raising awareness, but struggle to content with how most resources are tied into the economy we are looking to subvert. Is there a good video showing off these projects you mention/the work being done on the ground in FL?

@LeftyPlaat all good. Atm we (tvp) lack the public relations procedure to show the world what we (tvp) are doing. To me, it is sometimes frustrating to see our speed of evolution. why are investment and entrepreneur included in this project? Investment and entrepreneur are tools of the structure of monetary system. Isn't it clear that gaining from one another as an interest in a form of token (money) will always put one another down? the very same structure of the monetary system, that is design for competition = stepping one another for survival = crime, puverty, destruction. System failure

You cant solve problem, on the level which that problem was created- Yea. But it doesnt mean u shouldnt learn marketing. Im interested in this project for about 4 years. And i dont see any big improvements. Why u cant ask for piar on such popular channels as Vsause or T-ed. These channels are about since so ppl probably would be interested in Vp after that. This video on Utube for 2 days and only 340 likes. Some little kids gettin' about 10000 likes per day, by making videos about game "minecraft"... I see Project has money for Documental films. But try to make just feature film, about future of Venus Project. Put in some problems and try to solve them to catch Mass Media. The main problem is that 90% of population do not lookin for new World, they re stuck in the system. And the only way to convince them its using the " Mass Media's" rules of that system.

This actually great issue and thanks for bringing it up TheXalkk. Does the TVP have somebody responsible for contacting other organizations. I personally wrote several emails anytime I saw somebody was involved in anything that was pro-environmental or anti-monetarysystem but so far no responses even if the email was personalized every time for the receiver and not just the generic ctrl+c, ctrl+v type... I guess my emails went straight to spam folder... ;/

The way politician act today , on our fear, with the problem-reaction-solution paradigm, is so false and hollow, because they make the general population believe they are powerless, BUT, what is the truth, what are the solutions the politicians always give us, indeed, they are solutions from the general population, people solve the issue's not politicians, if there is a virus outbreak, does the politician find a cure, NO, the doctors do, if there is a fire, does the politician put the fire out, NO the firemen do, if there is a war to fight, do the politicians fight , HELL NO, soldiers fight for them, whatever it is, all politicians do is talk, it's time to stop listening, we the people do all the work.
