He has gone through hereditary cancer that has taken more than 20 of his family members which lead to the removal of most of his stomach organs but somehow he still manages to deliver such a beautiful voice that has so much power and love. His faith keeps him strong and he is very special to us here in New Zealand and Australia. He definitely deserves all the love and attention from all over the world. So thank you for this. Stan's "Ultralight Beam" was performed at Parachute studios this song was performed at Stebbings Recording Studio in Auckland, NZ in 2020 with "The Levites" band and backing group "The Standard". The verse sung in Maori (Indigenous language of NZ) is the English equivalent. Bigger, New Light and Inside Out are some originals.

There is no such thing as a Maori that can't sing, the songs I've listened to that are "Maori Reggae" Music have been "Stunning" so far. @@Beldvlmnt Stan had his stomach removed in September 2017 after discovering he inherited a rare cancer-causing gene mutation called CDH1 that has been responsible for the deaths of more than 25 of his family members. Stan knew he was out of options whether the surgery would effectively end his career on stage or not. The operating team discovered 13 cancers in his stomach. Without the procedure he would have been dead in six months at 27.

I'm usually here for BTS, but I love me some Stan! Incredible talent who really has a voice so big he really only gets better every day and learns to hone it. I went on exchange in NZ in 2007 and the majority of my school was maori, and almost EVERYONE could sing. So many sing-alongs during a school day. LOVED IT! Harmonizing is second nature. Often not even practising, but just knowing how to harmonize instantly.
