This whole interview was put together really well, I almost shed a tear hearing Bob say he never had a welcoming like that before

The fact that Stan forgets he’s famous and he treats everyone the same and he fan boys over other celebrities shows you how humble he really is! I found out I was related to him and he went to my dads home town of Tokomaru Bay afew yrs ago and seeing him have jams on the beach with all the cuzzies, auntys, uncles and Nannys was beautiful ❤️🙏🏽

Crazy takes me back to the time of the history of ruatorea and the impact Bob marley had on Aotearoa, and in a very strong way to the people of the East Coast.

Redemption song will always remind me of times where you can reflect on an era that was so profound and in Aotearoa we still find our way through hard times and rejoice on the other side, shot Stan for interviewing a part of iconic history while talking to a interesting person like Ziggy who definitely reflects an essence of his father and why we globally still enjoy his father's music and connect spiritually... Arohanui me koe e hoe

Chur this is so very cool. I was at the Bob Marley concert and his interview he did in Auckland was absolutely epic! Kia kaha..Love that you told him we all say "Uncle Bob". Gosh we were front, and just to the side where his backing singers were. Doobies being thrown onto the stage...hahaha Epic..never to forget ♥♥

This is NZ and if we want him at Womad then he stays...sick of the hipocracy regarding Gaza...no one seems to give a damn about SUDAN genocide. YEMEN genocide, MYAMAR genocide, KURDS genocide...all these thousands of woman and "children" being killed for years now and nothing from the UN on the slaughter happening in these countries...Awesome interview Stan...stand tall and proud to be a Kiwi in Aotearoa

Why don’t you do your damn homework before mouthing off? If you had half a brain you would know that Gaza is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. You would know that the scale and pace of Palestinian slaughter is unseen in modern history. You would know that unlike others Palestine is OCCUPIED and that violent occupation is supported by whom? By our Western democracies FFS.

Why dows tvnz want this deleted?
@Jessi-444 ай бұрын
Because it’s recently become known that Ziggy Marley supports Israel and has helped fund the genocide in Gaza.
@Jessi-44Ай бұрын
The original response got deleted somehow but TVNZ had to deleted it because they’re supposed to be politically neutral. Ziggy Marley was exposed for his unsavoury political views. You can research it.

What did he say at the start and why is Stan dressed like Ali G from the 90s 😂 Stan thinking he all hip hop, your from New Zealand mate WTF.
@JessieTrainorLVegas5 ай бұрын
Whats the matter bro, are you okay? tell me about it. You don't think Stan Walker can express himself more than just being from NZ? is he restricted, mate?
@MJ-gw6de5 ай бұрын
Was it his opening greeting in Te Reo Māori that has you confused about what he said? Because if so, then its simple. He basically said, greetings to him (Ziggy) and expressed his (Stan) gratitude and acknowledged Ziggy's station as an elder in his family. He (Stan) then thanks him, (Ziggy) for his time and presence for being there and allowing for the interview to take place. I hope this helps you find clarity, if that is what you were referring to mate 😊 ONE LOVE ❤💯 As for the fashion choices, I'm not the right person to comment on such trivial topics, or pass judgement on others choices.
