Hi Mary,another lovely hike,do love your happy cheerful commentary,you capture the views so we can almost feel we are with you. Always bring back so many happy memories of my walking days, think the Derbyshire Peak has such a lot to offer, not only the moors but the many picturesque valleys.The background music also adds to the atmosphere.Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next adventure.x

A very ‘Happy Easter’ Mary - another great video uploaded. We have done parts of that walk, so much beautiful scenery to take in with a cuppa once on on Stanage Edge. Look forward to you’re next video upload. Have a great week.

Looks like a good walk but a bit chilly on the moors but I guess you won't be chilly with that rucksack on your back. Its all about getting out and about and enjoying the countryside that's why I like watching your videos they give me ideas off places to go that I haven't been before.

I'm so glad they give you ideas David! Thanks so much for watching them 😁

A great area and brings memories when I did Stannage Edge. You're close to the West Riding border. I've walked there in temps below 39 F when I was on top of Kinder at 2,200' I could have done with a jacket like the one you had on. I love the colour on it as it's a lovely warm colour. It absolutely suit you and I like it being high on the neck as well. It makes me want to get on the tops which I did before getting lyympadaema . I'll keep watching walks like that.

How wonderful. Breathtaking views. Halfway through the video I was wondering if I’d see my sheep and there they were, with babies no less. I’m almost as excited as you must be for your long through hike, so looking forward for that. Hard to believe it’s so cold still in UK. We’ve had 90 degree weather already here in San Antonio TX , wonder what the summer will bring. Good to see Derek by your side. Thank you for my Sunday fix. 🙏🏻🥰

A nice brisk tramp in the Peak District. If I ever make it to the U.K. I'm hopping a lorry to the Peak District. The peacock was eager for the photo opp. Thanks, Tink!

So cool to get the birds eye views looking out over the moors. Now I am excited and cannot wait for the thru-hike. And after that, it will be nice to get a review of the pack -- whether it has an internal frame or no frame, and how that worked out with support and fit. I need a lighter pack, but I don't want to buy something that feels like I am schlepping a potato sack once I put all my gear into it.
@MarysOutdoorAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much John! I’ll be sure to answer those questions in the review video 😊

Lots of Trigs in one day and a head stone along with the Oxes. Nice shot of the Peacock flying up. I caught Covid this week but I'm recovering well. I leave for the AT in less than a month and will spend up to six weeks hiking North from Harpers Ferry, WV. John from MI
